Review: Arbonne FC5 Purifying Cleanser + Toner and Oil Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF 20

Hey Guys!,
Today I'm doing a review on some Arbonne Skin-Care Products. Arbonne Products can be purchased online at https://arbonne.com/shop_online/shopOnline.asp, or with an Online Consultant. I received samples of the Arbonne FC5 Purifying Cleanser + Toner and the FC5 Oil Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF 20 from a family friend who is an Arbonne Consultant.

First, the review on the  FC5 Purifying Cleanser + Toner. To the right is a picture of the full size product. You get 4 fluid ounces for $25. I have pretty sensitive, skin, and I really liked this product. I have oily/combination skin. It has a clear liquidy consistency and has a fresh scent. I used it in the shower in the morning and I loved that it had a cooling effect! It tingled on my skin and helped me wake up a little. I felt that it got the excess oil of of my pores and it felt very refreshing. I also liked that the cleanser had a nice lather.

Now, the review on the FC5 Oil Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF 20. To the left is a picture of the full size product. You get 1.7 fliud ounces for $39.50. I used this product after using the Purifying Cleanser + Toner and I liked it. The consistency was a little bit thicker than I thought it would be, because Oil-Absorbing Moisturizers are usually thin and light in consistency. I still liked this product though. I like the fact that it has SPF 20, because I need to wear a sunscreen everyday. It can also be difficult to find a Moisturizer with an SPF that does not appear or feel greasy. This product made my t-zone appear less shiny, and my makeup apply smoother. It's almost like this product has a built in makeup primer.

Overall, I like these Arbonne Skincare products and I would consider purchasing the full-size products. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Review: Dr. Dennis Gross All-In-One Facial Cleanser with Toner

Hey Guys!,
I hope that you're all having a great day! Today I'm doing a review on the Dr. Dennis Gross All-In-One Facial Cleanser with Toner. It's available at Sephora. The cost is $32, I know this may sound like a lot, But you get 6 fluid ounces for this price. You also don't need much of this product to cleanse your face.
I really ended up liking this product. I have sensitive skin and I had no bad reactions to it. It took off all of my face makeup, as it claims it can do. Here is what it claims to do. " Save time, money, and steps in your daily routine with this hard-working, deep-cleansing, clean-rinsing formula. A dose of retinyl palmitate (retinol) helps to keep signs of age at bay. Natural witch hazel, chamomile, and vitamin E work to tone and restore the skin, removing pollutants and impurities without stripping. Skin is left feeling fresh, soft, and balanced, never tight or dry."
Now, I like this product because it takes off my FACE makeup well. But I did try to use this to remove eye-makeup as well.. big mistake. It burned. I wish this product could also remove eye-makeup, but that would just be too perfect.  One of the reasons I think that this product removed face makeup so well was because it instructs you to massage the product onto a dry face with wet hands. I used this cleanser with my Clarisonic Mia and I thought the two worked well together.
This product is formulated for all skin-types. I do think this could be used on all skin-types. The box says that if you have dry skin you should massage this into your face for 10 seconds, and 30 seconds for oily skin. The consistency of this product is a thick gel. A little goes a long way.
Overall, I think this is a good product. I'm not sure if I would re-purchase this though. I would rate it a 2.8 out of 5. Just because it irritated my eyes. Thanks for reading!
