MAC Brushes in bad shape?

Have you had MAC brushes shed like crazy, in chunks? Or have you had MAC brushes completely fall apart? It tends to be very frustrating when this happens because you invested a good amount of money in brushes that were said to be very high in quality. This happened to me, and I was pretty upset. I had purchased a 188 Small Duo-Fiber Face Brush from them and I had it for about a year. I was cleaning it with my version of the MAC brush cleanser (for spot cleaning), and using baby shampoo about twice a month. It had been shedding slightly overtime. About a week ago, nearly all the bristles came out. I assumed I didn't have the receipt and that it was purchased about a year ago, nothing could be done. But then, I went on the MAC Cosmetics website and found this number : 1-800-588-0070. I called it and now they're sending me a shipping label, so I can send it out to MAC for free, and they will send me a replacement! :D I was really excited. So, if you have any MAC brushes that are falling apart, no matter how old they are, I would suggest calling that number. Goodluck!

My Favorite Drugstore Eyeshadows

High-Quality Eyeshadows are difficult to find in drugstores. Not many of the shadows sold in drugstores have high pigmentation. But, after trying a bunch of drugstore Eyeshadows, I think that Neutrogena Mineral Sheers for Eyes is a great product. They come in duos and are surprisingly pigmented. I have 2 of these Eyeshadow duos. Although these shadows are pigmented, they are also shimmery, There are no actual glitters in the product, but I'd say they have a satin finish. I think these shadows are very similar to MAC's Mineralize Eyeshadows. I have the Neutrogena Eyeshadows in the colors Pebble 50 and Stone 20. Below are some pictures of the actual product and swatches from just a few swipes on my fingertip. Enjoy. :)

Some Products I Regret Buying

Here is a list of Products I regret buying. Take into consideration that these products didn't work for ME. That doesn't mean that they won't work for you. But I will explain why I regret purchasing these products.

1. COVERGIRL Clean Makeup - Oil Control. Shade: 505 Ivory. Price: About $7.

- I regret purchasing this product because it didn't provide sufficient coverage. I have some blemishes and scarring to cover, and this product just didn't cut it for me. It also claims that it would control oily. I think this product actually made me look more oily in the t-zone with it on, than I would without it.

2. Benefit Bad Gal Mascara - Color: Black. Price: $19.
- I regret buying this mascara because it didn't do my lashes any good. I have pretty straight lashes, and small eyes. The brush was so huge it was difficult to apply and this mascara didn't hold a curl at all. The formula is very wet. I found that this mascara did flake. And it didn't add length to my lashes. It just added some thickness.

3.  Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation - Color: Light Ivory. Price: $8.

- I regret purchasing this foundation mainly because of the color. I have very fair skin, and the lightest color available, Light Ivory was ORANGE on me. Another downside to this product is, if you have dry patches of skin on your face, the color oxidizes in those areas. I wouldn't recommend this.
